For this elegant residential project, the client was looking for a decorative finish that would create a striking focal point while complementing the bold palette of deep black walls and luxurious blue furnishings throughout the living space. The brief called for a finish that would feel refined and contemporary, while introducing light, texture and a subtle sense of luxury.
After exploring a selection of handcrafted sample panels, the client selected Stucco Antico for its beautifully smooth surface and timeless marble-inspired appearance. To enhance the finish without overpowering the surrounding interior, a delicate layer of Silver Mirage Rustico was applied as a specialist topcoat. This introduced a soft metallic shimmer that gently catches the light, creating depth and movement that changes throughout the day while maintaining an understated elegance.
The finished feature wall provides a sophisticated contrast against the dark interior palette, becoming a natural focal point within the room. Delighted with the result, the client chose to continue the same finish onto a feature wall within the entrance hall, creating a seamless design language that connects the spaces and establishes a luxurious first impression from the moment visitors enter the home.
The combination of Stucco Antico and Silver Mirage Rustico demonstrates how carefully layered decorative finishes can add individuality, warmth and architectural character, producing bespoke interiors that are both timeless and uniquely personal.
